  • We understand the importance of providing a secure and safe space to call home. That is why our premises are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by a number of friendly, courteous and professionally trained staff.

  • One of our main objectives is to employ staff from a similar environment and background to our residents so that they are better equipped to empathise in any incidents that arise.

  • Outreach Homes is committed to employing staff through safer recruitment processes, which include an enhanced DBS screening and reference checks All staff are required to complete a comprehensive list of courses during their induction.

  • These courses cover essential topics such as safeguarding, health and safety, and professional conduct, ensuring that every staff member is well-prepared to provide the highest standard of care.

  • By adhering to these robust procedures, Outreach Homes fosters a secure and supportive environment for both employees and those in our care.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure” - A snippet from a poem by Marianne Williamson, that describes the challenges I faced growing up in an Inner London council estate without stable guidance. Unstable parenting, a ready-made excuse I could blame for the reasons I partook in various endeavours. In truth, it was a conjunction of confusion and bad decisions that led me to my life’s worst experiences, but life always gives us a way to face our inadequacies and gives you a path to show you are powerful beyond measure. In time, I’ve become a community leader and Co-Founder of Outreach Homes. I wish to inspire the next generation and give them the tools to fulfil their potential without going through the turmoil I did. I hope to inspire and provide the necessary tools for young people to succeed.’

A word from our founders…

“I am Jonathan, also known as Jay Weathers, a music producer/songwriter who has had the honour of working with some of the industry's prominent names. My heart has always been set on being a positive influence for young people and giving back in any way I can. Through my mother's role as a foster carer, I was privileged to grow up alongside foster children for over 10 years and I saw firsthand the struggles they face as they navigate the social care system. This inspired me to establish Outreach Homes, with the goal of offering support and guidance to young people during the difficult and intimidating journey from adolescence to adulthood. With my background in youth work and community projects, I noticed a gap in the presence of relatable role models and practical support systems for young people, and I wanted to do my part in filling that gap.”
